Sagwan is the Hindi name for teak, so a sagwan sofa set is simply a sofa set with a solid teak frame. Teak is the preferred wood for seating because its density and natural oils keep the joints tight and resist warping, so the frame stays firm for decades.
We also build sofa frames in sheesham (Indian rosewood) and mango wood if you prefer a different tone or budget.
- Can I choose my own upholstery and fabric?
Yes. You choose the upholstery fabric or leatherette, the cushion firmness and the finish on the wood. Send us a swatch reference or colour on WhatsApp and we will match it to the frame design.
